Bio

"A" is for an avid reader of Christian fictional novels.  I love to read these books and find myself reading through them in two to three days.

"M" is for married, mother, and grandmother...I have been married to Gene A. Britt for the past 37 years. I am a mother to four children, Genette (Russelle), Raphy, Georgia (Jake), and Geami and a grandmother to seven: Laela, Camille, Kingston, Delaney, Alina, Daphnee & Ty.

"I" is for instructor.  I have been an instructor at GHS for twelve years.  I currently teach Civics and Spanish I & 2.  Before I became a full time instructor I was a substitute teacher for 12 years in Jackson County.

"T" is for testimony.  I am a born again Christian and live to be a testimony to God's AMAZING GRACE.  I pray that I can be a blessing to my students, their families, and my coworkers.

"Y" is for "yo hablo espanol" & young at heart.  I enjoy staying active with my grandchildren and family. I love to work in the yard with my Dad, travel, arts and crafts, and most of all Chick-fil-A lemonade (its heavenly!).
